Up and Down and Gourds
We started off the New Year wrapping up a visit to Superpa’s house. With 7 acres, we don’t even have to leave the property for a Micro Venture. Grey found a patch of gourds growing and used them to practice his developing throwing skills.
Earlier that morning was the first time we ever heard him use the words “up” and “down”! He got more practice with them as he ran to and fro in the sandy arroyo. He was really putting his Hi Tec Toddler Boots to the traction test!
Writing about this moment a month later, I now shudder when I hear “up, up, up” coming out of his mouth. But at the time, it was adorable.
