Out on the Town
Usually my Micro-Ventures are outside and involve my little adventure buddy Grey coming along for the ride. But this evening, Mama got a little grown up time to go out with some friends! I really never drink, not for any noble reason, I just honestly don’t like the way alcohol tastes. But John and I are starting to work on adding to our family, so the fact that I CAN’T drink for a while made me want to go out and have an excuse to partake. So I gathered a gabble of friends with their partners to go salsa dancing at La Rumba and then to karaoke at Rumours.

It was nice to have an excuse to dress up. John probably hasn’t seen me in anything but Yoga Pants and a pony tail since… our wedding???
Thanks to all my friends who came!
We definitely went early to participate in the lessons before the club officially opened for the night. It didn’t help me one bit, but thankfully various dance partners seemed to know what they were doing and led me through it.

Half our group boggied their butts off and then had to go home to babies and early work shifts. Thankfully, Grey was hanging out with Superpa for the weekend and I was able to stay out.
We went to Rumours where the dancing continued and I brought the house down with a rendition of “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid.
