Playing in the Arroyo
At my dad’s house near Walsenburg, the winter day was mild and sunny. Perfect for rocking the Baby Sunglasses and Hi Tec Toddler Boots on a quick walk out back to the sandy arroyo. Grey loves an opportunity to get absolutely filthy.
Then he spent some time studying the top of an ant hill. Thank goodness the ants are hibernating right now. I’ve thought better of letting him dig into their home and will stop him next time. It’s a good teachable moment to respect all life and leave the ant’s home alone.
