Alderfer/Three Sisters Hike
Boy did I feel fast without Grey’s Osprey Poco Plus backpack on! He was having fun tending the farm animals at his Superpa’s house while John and I had a weekend to spend some quality time together. Of course, quality time to me means hiking. There is a 5 mile loop I like in a really pretty forest at Alderfer. I figured it would be pretty snow packed so I wore my Yak Traks although John did fine with just his boots. It was nice just to spend the miles talking. I could actually hold a conversation without Grey jabbering in my ear about every bird, airplane, or squirrel he noticed.
